Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q1. What types of machinery do you deal in?
A: Rex Machinery specializes in the sale and purchase of industrial commercial printing, offset press, and post-press bindery equipment (including paper cutting, binding, stitching, and perfect binding machines). We offer both new and pre-owned equipment.
Q2. Can I inspect the machinery before making a purchase?
A: Yes, absolutely. We highly encourage all prospective buyers to visit our site, physically inspect the equipment, and conduct machinery trials or test runs to satisfy themselves regarding the condition before finalizing the deal.
Q3. Are your used machines sold with a warranty?
A: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written contract, all pre-owned machinery is sold on an “As-Is, Where-Is” basis without any mechanical, structural, or electrical warranties.
Q4. Do you provide shipping and transportation services?
A: Our standard business terms are Ex-Works (EXW), meaning the buyer is responsible for the cost and arrangement of dismantling, loading, and transit logistics. However, we are happy to assist you by recommending reliable, experienced third-party machinery movers.
Q5. What are your standard payment terms?
A: To reserve a machine from active sale, a mutually agreed initial advance token deposit is required. The remaining full balance payment must be successfully cleared before any dismantling, packing, or dispatch takes place from our site.
Q6. Do you buy used printing and bindery machinery as well?
A: Yes, we are actively involved in both buying and selling. If you have surplus printing or finishing equipment that you want to liquidate, please contact us with the machinery specifications, photographs, and your expected pricing.
